ACORN Camp for Parents & Guardians

ACORN Camp for Parents & Guardians

Alert. Connect. Organize. Resist. Nurture.
November 3 – December 8, 2025 | Mondays, 7–9 PM ET
6-Week Virtual Training Series | 1.5 hours each + optional 30 minute Lab

Why ACORN Camp?

As book bans, anti-trans laws, ICE raids, and rising authoritarianism threaten our families, parents and caregivers need practical survival plans that protect children and communities. ACORN Camp is not about fear—it’s about being ready.

Together, we’ll build strategies to:

  • Prepare go-bags and emergency plans for families with children

  • Design care networks for elderly and disabled neighbors

  • Develop communication systems when tech or trust breaks down

  • Raise children to resist lies and support each other with empathy

This is abolitionist survival work: practical, trauma-informed, and rooted in love.

Who It’s For

  • Parents/guardians of PGM/BIPOC undocumented, disabled, queer & trans children

  • Caregivers, aunties, elders, pod leaders, and mutual aid coordinators

  • Anyone raising or protecting kids who want to prepare without panic
