Black Trans Grief & Healing Circle
1st and 3rd Tues of the month
Grief for Black trans people is often carried in silence—ignored by dominant culture, minimized by systems that erase us, and left to weigh heavy on our bodies and spirits. This group is a communal space where grief is not pathologized, but honored as part of our survival and resistance. Together, we gather on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month to witness each other’s losses, whether personal, ancestral, or collective.
Each session blends ritual, creative expression, and open dialogue—through art-making, journaling, or group discussion sparked by shared readings or media. Participants are invited to show up with their grief exactly as it is, whether through words, silence, or embodied practice. We hold space for one another without judgment, advice-giving, or pressure to move on.
This is not therapy. It is a circle of care, where Black trans people can speak their grief aloud, be witnessed, and explore pathways toward healing in community.
